Here’s how to Learn to String Your Guitar

During this stay at home order I have had a lot of time to invest in my hobbies. One of those is playing guitar.

I have been practicing quite a bit and my strings started to wear out a bit and they were in need of a change. I figured there are quite a few people during this time that are picking up instruments that have been just sitting around for the first time.

So when it comes to guitar, one of the most important things to help you start off on the right foot is quality strings. Every guitar player needs to know how to change them in order to be successful and cost effective.

I shot all of this in my home with the things I had lying around. I put Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings on my B.C. Rich Avenge with my bare hands and bolt cutters.

I tuned the strings up using a free tuner called Pano Tuner that I downloaded onto my phone. I played my guitar through a small Marshall amp that I have and recorded it by placing my phone in front of it and recording audio.

I used lamps to help with lighting and utilized the sun when I could. I also used my iPhone 11 and a makeshift tripod to record video.
